Components of the Naturopathic Hair Loss Clinic Program

The Naturopathic Beauty Hair Loss Clinic for Women

Module 1:

Naturopathic Assessment – includes intake forms, clinical intake, and any appropriate lab tests.  Tests could include bloodwork, salivary hormone testing, hair analysis for minerals and heavy metals, HCL test for digestive health, and/or nutrition testing for metabolic type.

Stress Management – stress has been found to have a profound effect on hair loss and all aspects of health.  A stress reduction program will be implemented at this session so its benefits can be enjoyed throughout the entire program

Topical Care – enhancing the health of the scalp is necessary to facilitate healthy hair regrowth and stop hair loss.  A natural, nourishing regime will be prescribed to increase the health of the scalp and hair follicles.

Module 2:

Diet and Nutrition – establishing good digestive health is at the heart of any healing protocol, and research has shown that a deficiency in nutrients can contribute to hair loss.  The results of your naturopathic assessment will be incorporated into an individualized plan to optimize your diet and digestion.  Achieving success in this module may require several visits, depending on the state of digestion.

Module 3:

Hormone Balance – if test results indicate hormonal imbalanace (adrenal, thyroid, or steroid hormones), a protocol will be implemented to strengthen and balance these systems.  Therapies can include herbs, acupuncture, homeopathy, and nutraceuticals.

Immune Balance – if test results indicate that the immune system is disrupted, a protocol will be implemented to balance the immune system and reduce systemic inflammation.  Therapies can include herbs, acupuncture, homeopathy and nutraceuticals.

Module 4:

Mesotherapy – developed in 1952, mesotherapy involves the injection of vitamins, minerals, herbs, and homeopathics into the dermal layer of the skin.  It is widely used in Europe and South America to treat aging skin, pain, cellulite, and hair loss.  This treatment will provide the hair follicles with the nutrients required to function normally.  Ten weekly or biweekly treatments are recommended to optimally nourish the hair follicles.
